Learning through adventure...This 2 week intense program focuses is an eco-tour with a community service component. Participants will stay in Kampala. As part of the ecotour, we will visit places like the UWEC (Uganda Wildlife Education Center); Kimbali Forest (and the Jane Goodall Institute); Kazinga Channel; among many more. The community service aspect of this program involves visiting local orphanages, local build sites, and other places to get a better understanding of ongoing efforts in Uganda. If you would like to participate in a community service project, please contact us. We coordinate several projects with schools from Europe and North America. The summer program in Africa provides a great opportunity to experience, firsthand, the wondrous beauty and unique landscape of Uganda in a safe environment. Every component of the program has been designed to provide a favorable and unforgettable memory of Africa and African culture. |
